I am a Marketing professional with a successful career spanning over 15 years with over 12 of these spent in the ICT industry.  I head a digital & online marketing firm VoilaDigital, based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Career & Education:  I worked in the African ICT industry in various capacities between 1999 and 2011.  I headed the Marketing portfolio at Hewlett Packard (HP) East Africa and later moved to Microsoft East Africa in a similar capacity.  I later headed the Central Marketing Group for Microsoft covering Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.  In both organizations, I also held business management and sales roles at various times.

Prior to my career in the ICT industry, I held sales and marketing responsibilities in various fields including fast moving consumer goods, publishing and retail.

I consult, train and speak on Digital & Online Marketing.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Marketing from Daystar University, Kenya and have several other post-graduate marketing qualifications including a Marketing Excellence certificate from the Kellog School of Management.

Other interests:  I am an accomplished public speaker on various subject matters top of which are marketing, technology and youth development.
